The moment you contact Noble Eightfold we are here to provide you with the answers you need. During the general inquiry we will address any questions you may have, but also take the opportunity to learn more about your firm and needs. You will be asked specific preliminary questions that will enable our team to determine if our services will be beneficial to your company.
During this stage we review and evaluate the information you provided during the general inquiry and determine if you meet our client engagement prerequisites. This is a key part of our commitment to only engage firms which can be guaranteed benefits from utilizing our services.
Once a prospective client is accepted and has indicated an interest in having a formal presentation, a mutual NDA will be forwarded for signature. We believe that all good business relationships start with trust. As such we want to make sure that all proprietary information, both yours and ours, is protected and respected.
We believe that in order for our prospective clients to be able to make an informed decision as to which technology negotiation firm to engage they need to be provided with a savings analysis estimating the potential savings that may be generated. Though the savings may be slightly more or less, they are based on raw data not benchmarks like many other technology negotiation firms do.
At Noble Eightfold, our in-person presentations are an extension of our white glove service. Each presentation is designed specifically to the needs of the prospective client and are led by the CEO of the firm either at our offices or at the client site.
Our SOW’s are all encompassing, comprehensive and simple to understand. We pride ourselves in being transparent and each SOW reflects our competitive pricing structure. There are never any hidden costs!
Once the agreement is executed we immediately begin working on your behalf. Our clients can relax knowing that going forward every step of the negotiation will be handle by Noble Eightfold. No more calls from the respective technology vendors, no need to find time to conduct vendor screenings, and most importantly, you are guaranteed to get the most competitive pricing.
During this stage we contact key managers and other personnel within your organization to gather vendor information and history. This stage is usually between 1-2 weeks depending on the number and availability of the employees. During this time, we are also obtaining input from each employee on what supplemental services from vendors will assist in improving their efficiency, thus maximizing your profits.
Every vendor we contact on your behalf must abide by our technology consulting process. We reserve the right to exclude any vendor from the bidding process who does not abide by the defined expectations. All initial meetings will be in-person. The vendors will be provided copies of the Letter of Agency, given the opportunity to ask questions, our process will be explained as well as given insight into what are the client’s present goals and concerns if any.
The negotiation begins the moment we contact the vendor. Every negotiation is different and the approach is determined by the vendor’s cooperation, client’s feedback, and goals. Noble Eightfold always engages in collaborative negotiations and we make a sincere effort to preserve all existing client/vendor relationships.
Every week or as required, we have a one-on-one meeting with our client, either in person or via a call, to update the client on the status of the negotiation, address key points of discussion, new business issues and critical items. Beyond these calls, our clients are welcomed to contact us at any time. Calls are usually returned the same day, but no more than 24 hours later.
Our negotiations are never concluded until we are confident we have obtained maximum savings for the client as well as any necessary enhanced client support services. Once we have reached this stage, we discuss and review the details with the client to validate the savings generated and confirm that the client has a full understanding of the proposal prior to sending to legal for review.
We do all the technology vendor pre-screening for our clients. Once we have identified technology equipment vendors that match the specific needs, requirements and culture of our client, we arrange for the final 3 vendors to visit the client site or our offices. Vendor presentations must be designed as information sessions rather than sales presentations, and are geared to address the client’s present challenges with valuable solutions. All vendors are required to submit presentations for review and final approval by Noble Eightfold. Our clients never have to participate in presentations that do not address their concerns.
Once contracts are signed, our 2 month (60-days) post contract commitment begins. We stay onboard at no additional cost to the client to ensure that all commitments and timelines are being met by the vendor. We participate in all scheduled meetings.
